Help me grow!
- I am from the tropics so I love warmth (18-30 degrees Celsius), so keep me indoors.
- Indirect sunlight suits me best and I cannot tolerate direct sunlight. So place me near a window.
- I need minimal water. Allow the top-soil to dry before watering again. (water 1-2 times a week in summers, once every 2 weeks in winters).
- I love humidity (remember I come from Brazilian rainforests), so spray my leaves gently or place me near a humidifier.
- Fertilise me once every 2-3 months so I get the nutrients I need.
FAQs
- Why are my Calathea Setosa Plant-medium’s leaves not looking their best?
If my leaves are Wilting or curling leaves, it could be because of underwatering or less misting. If my leaves are Yellowing, it’s because I’m overwatered. If my leaves are spotty, I could have a fungal infection so spray me with a natural pesticide or neem oil. - I want to place the Calathea Setosa Plant-medium in every room. How can I propagate them at home?
I’m easy to propagate at home by Division and Stem cutting. Just cut the stem just below the node and plant it in a smaller pot. Water and care for it as you did with the mother plant and roots hold form in about 2 weeks. My baby plants are now ready for all your rooms.
